Forza Horizon 3 is the third installment in the Forza Horizon series—a franchise of open-world racing games. It was developed by Playground Games and released in 2016 for PC and Xbox One.

The game takes place entirely in Australia, and like its predecessors, the main goal is to participate in races and secure at least a third-place finish.

After completing all races in a given region, players are invited to take part in a special Exhibition event, which deviates from the usual racing format. Once this showcase is finished, players gain the ability to set up a new festival in a different part of the map.
