Assassin Creed Unity Gold Edition is a historical action-adventure video game that is part of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Set during the period of the French Revolution, the story follows the journey of Arno Dorian, an assassin seeking redemption and truth. The narrative begins in 1307, during the raid on the Temple of Paris, which leads to the arrest of the Templar Grand Master Jacques de Molay.

As the temple is looted, de Molay entrusts a fellow Templar with a powerful sword and a secret manuscript. The Templar hides these artifacts within a crypt in France, but is soon assassinated. Following this event, de Molay is executed by burning at the stake, during which he places a curse upon King Philip IV and Pope Clement V, setting the stage for the unfolding conflict between Assassins and Templars.

This game blends historical fiction with engaging gameplay mechanics, offering a richly detailed open world set in revolutionary France, complete with stealth elements, parkour, and intense combat.
